Porthdafen Studio is a purpose built sculpture studio started by Sarah Tombs. Built in 2005 the studio is fully equipped with a range of facilities to enable students to explore a variety of sculptural techniques and materials. The studio is located in landscaped gardens within beautiful countryside and has panoramic views across the Loughor estuary and the Carmarthenshire hills. In the summer there is also the option to work 'al fresco' with views over the landscape in a marquee specially designed for carving. If you want to bring a friend or partner not joining a course there are plenty of things to do in this area.
